
Actor Moon Sung-hyun has successfully concluded his journey as the MC of SBS 'Inkigayo' after approximately 1 year and 5 months.
On the 14th, Moon Sung-hyun bid farewell as he stepped down from the MC position of 'Inkigayo'. Starting from April 28, 2024, he will be active in a combination called 'Maknae-z' alongside IVE's Lee Seo and ZEROBASEONE's Han Yoo-jin. They were affectionately nicknamed 'Yuri-sung' and received much love for their unique chemistry, setting the record for the youngest and longest-serving fixed MCs in the history of 'Inkigayo'.
As the only actor among the three, Moon Sung-hyun showcased his exceptional love for K-pop and demonstrated his impressive dancing skills, proving his versatile charm. He received praise for leading the live broadcast atmosphere positively with his stable hosting skills and witty reactions.
Through his agency FNC Entertainment, Moon Sung-hyun expressed his heartfelt feelings, saying, "I was really happy to take on the MC role of 'Inkigayo', which I always wanted to try. It was so enjoyable to host with a new concept every week, and I learned a lot."
He added, "I still can't believe that I'm leaving 'Inkigayo', but I will greet you with more diverse works in the future."
Moon Sung-hyun has broadened his acting spectrum by appearing in significant works such as the dramas 'Shuroop', 'The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate', 'Beauty and the Beast', 'The Chairman is Grade 9', 'Gangnam B-Side', 'Wonkyung', 'Trigger', and the films 'Dr. Cheon and the Lost Talisman: The Secret of Seolgyeong' and 'Fragments'.
