MBC's entertainment program "It's a relief to take a good rest" (directed by Kim Myung-jin, Kim Moon-seop, Shin Hyun-bin, Lee Jun-beom, hereafter referred to as 'Rest') will conclude its season on November 17. The production team stated, "We plan to reorganize the program during the winter and return to viewers with a new season next spring."
First aired in April 2024, "Rest" gained significant attention with its unique concept of "0.5-star deserted island check-in reality," where 'CEO An' Ahn Jung-hwan invites viewers to a renovated deserted island cabin. In the winter of the same year, it expanded into a deserted island restaurant system, enhancing the program's fun and scale.
Above all, "Rest" has solidified its position as the undisputed "Monday entertainment powerhouse," consistently ranking first in Monday entertainment ratings throughout its broadcast. Each episode featured innovative planning, fresh guests, and a variety of dishes that could only be tasted on a deserted island, earning it steady love from viewers.
In this regard, the production team of "Rest" expressed, "Thanks to the support from our viewers, this season received great love. We ask for your continued interest and expectations for the new season, which will return next spring in a more new and upgraded form."
Meanwhile, MBC's "It's a relief to take a good rest" airs every Monday night at 9 PM. On October 6, during the Chuseok holiday, it will air 50 minutes earlier at 8:10 PM.
