In the Coupang Play series 'Family Plan', Romon shines as an icon of twists, showcasing his growth as an actor.
In this work, Romon transforms into the genius hacker Baek Ji-hoon, gradually revealing the diverse charms of his character. He presents different sides of himself depending on the people and groups he encounters, creating intrigue. At home, he is a gentle son who admires the brain hacking of Young-soo (played by Bae Doona), while at school, he is a somewhat quirky and nerdy student who knows when to strike and retreat to take down villains with his quick situational judgment. He has a sibling dynamic with Ji-woo (played by Lee Soo-hyun), where they bicker but can rely on each other in crucial moments, showcasing his presence.
In the broadcast of episode 6, Ji-hoon delivered a thrilling performance with his previously hidden impressive action skills. Having showcased his talents more as a 'brainy' character until now, his twist-filled portrayal brought fresh enjoyment. He played the role of a player who balances strength and weakness, calmly intervening to help Ji-woo overcome her trauma at a critical moment, which heightened the immersion.
