Actress Heo Young-ran explained the reason for moving to Seoul after closing her successful 400-pyeong car wash.
On the 17th, a video titled "A famous actor who hit the jackpot in business suddenly moved to Seoul... 'Soonpoong Obstetrics and Gynecology' Nurse Heo" was posted on the YouTube channel 'One Mic'.
Heo Young-ran operated a self-service car wash and café in Daejeon after marrying a theater actor and director in 2016.
At the time of her marriage, her husband did not have a high income due to his theater work, and she said, "We thought, 'Let's try it as a side job,' but it became my main job."
Heo Young-ran, who opened a café along with the car wash, recalled, "I got a barista certification and worked part-time at another café for a couple of months without pay to practice serving customers."
However, because she was running a business in Daejeon, she had to give up her acting activities. Heo Young-ran explained, "If I had done business in Seoul, I would have managed to act somehow, but since I was doing it in Daejeon, I couldn't pursue acting."
She then revealed the reason for closing her business and moving to Seoul: "Honestly, I wanted to act."

Heo Young-ran mentioned that people around her were surprised by her decision to close the successful car wash and move to Seoul, saying, "I always think that it's good to be happy every day, and when my husband really loves acting, I wondered what I could do, and the thought of 'acting' came to mind."
She also added, "Having experienced the pain of being a self-employed person has really strengthened my inner self," and expressed, "I haven't received any offers yet, but I hope to be cast."
Meanwhile, Heo Young-ran debuted in the drama 'Me' in 1996. She became known through works like 'Soonpoong Obstetrics and Gynecology' and 'The Era of the Wild Man'.
After the drama 'I'm Sorry, Gangnam-gu' ended in 2017, she paused her entertainment activities and recently announced her return.
