AI entertainment tech company Galaxy Corporation has successfully turned a profit, recording 126 billion won in sales, approximately 12 billion won in operating profit, and 13 billion won in net profit in the first half of 2025.

On the 19th, Galaxy Corporation announced, "This is a remarkable achievement that greatly surpasses the 207% sales growth rate recorded in 2024, achieving more than three times the annual sales amount of 40 billion won in just six months."

Unlike the operating losses and net losses recorded until 2024, the company has proven its solid corporate value with a large-scale turnaround to profit in the first half of this year.

The main driving force behind the turnaround was the convergence strategy of media, IP, commerce, and tech. This successful strategy is analyzed as the result of proactive investments aimed at establishing a foundation for 'IP and tech convergence business.' Due to large-scale investments, losses were inevitable until last year, but in the first half of 2025, the established foundation entered a full-fledged commercialization stage, realizing significant profitability improvements.

In the media business sector, the company demonstrated its global production capabilities with over 400 multi-entertainment programs, including '1 Night 2 Days,' 'You Quiz on the Block,' 'Mr. Trot 3,' and 'Physical: 100 Season 2.' At the same time, by combining with the super IP G-Dragon, it maximized market impact through music album activities and world tour expansions, generating explosive sales.

In particular, G-Dragon's world tour proved his global influence and drove sales.

Successfully completing the first tour, which traveled through Asia including Japan, the Philippines, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, solidified his position as a K-pop legend, and media exhibition tickets sold out in a short time, reflecting the explosive response from fans worldwide and raising expectations for continued sales growth in the future.

Additionally, in the commerce sector, the company achieved global sales of 10 million cans of the 'PEACEMINUSONE Highball.' It also contributed to business model diversification by successfully executing various 'non-participatory IP projects,' such as media tech exhibitions linked to the world tour. Innovative technology-based content production, such as the space AI music transmission project and collaboration with Microsoft for AI music videos, has also strengthened its identity as an AI entertainment tech company.

Galaxy Corporation plans to significantly expand its sales scale in the second half of the year, starting from the profit turnaround in the first half of 2025. In particular, it expects the effects of expanding G-Dragon's world tour and additional encore performances, as well as the recruitment of new super IPs like Song Kang-ho and Kim Jong-kook.

Galaxy Corporation is preparing for an IPO next year, with Daishin Securities and Shinhan Investment Corp. as the lead underwriters.
