Eunhyuk of the group Super Junior has donated 100 million won again this year, in honor of his late father's birthday (July 28), following last year's donation.

On the 28th, the Dongbang Social Welfare Association announced that Eunhyuk donated 100 million won to a child abuse prevention running campaign.

Despite his busy schedule with recent concerts and album activities, Eunhyuk expressed his joy in participating in the campaign, stating, "I am truly happy to be part of the child abuse prevention running campaign in honor of my father's birthday."

The donation will be used for the child abuse prevention running campaign 'Hope Run,' which will take place for a month leading up to 'Child Abuse Prevention Day' on November 19. 'Hope Run' is a campaign designed to improve social awareness of child abuse and promote the importance of children's rights, and it is expected to contribute to the spread of a healthy donation culture.

Eunhyuk has been appointed as the official messenger for this campaign, taking on the role of spreading the core message and encouraging participation. He stated, "I come across articles about child abuse almost every day. I want to contribute a little to ensure that children, who are the future of our society, can grow up safely and healthily," adding, "I will continue to think about how to provide ongoing support and attention so that children in need do not lose hope."

Lee Eun-joo, Deputy Director of the Dongbang Social Welfare Association, expressed gratitude, saying, "I sincerely thank Eunhyuk for practicing warm sharing in memory of his father again this year," and added, "We will repay that sentiment with a good project that can effectively convey it to our society."

The Dongbang Social Welfare Association, established in 1972, has been unwavering in its founding ideology and values of 'realizing the value of life' for the past 53 years, providing comprehensive welfare services to marginalized neighbors, including children and youth, single-parent families, the disabled, the elderly, and Filipino-Kopino families.

Meanwhile, Eunhyuk's group Super Junior is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. Their 12th regular album, released on the 8th, has received explosive responses, and the 'SUPER SHOW 10' tour concerts are also selling out continuously.
