Singer Go Jung-woo confessed to his past hardships.
In the episode of MBN's 'Oh Eun-young Stay' aired on the 28th, Go Jung-woo opened up about his feelings.
On that day, Go Jung-woo expressed his affection for his grandmother, saying, "My only family is my grandmother. She is my friend, my mother, my wife, and everything in the world to me."
Go Jung-woo shared that he was raised by his grandmother since he was 2 years old, saying, "I found out later that our house was auctioned off due to my uncle's guarantee. So we had nowhere to go. There was an abandoned house in the neighborhood that was falling apart and had been deserted for a long time. When I contacted them, the owner said it was too dangerous to let us stay. But my grandmother had to raise me and feed me, so she pleaded to let us live there. We lived propped up by 4-5 iron pipes from a construction site," he recalled.
He continued, "My grandmother had an accident with a dump truck that was going the wrong way while she was going to the health center. She became paralyzed from the waist down. As my grandmother became increasingly unable to walk and was in pain, I started working from the second grade of elementary school. I did farm work and everything else. Because I had to feed my grandmother," he said, with tears in his eyes.
Meanwhile, 'Oh Eun-young Stay' airs every Monday at 9:10 PM.
