Singer Go Jung-woo recalled the time he attempted extreme choices.

In the episode of MBN's 'Oh Eun-young Stay' aired on the 28th, Go Jung-woo opened up about his inner feelings.

On that day, Go Jung-woo shared that he had been earning money since he was 9 years old to support his living, saying, "Working day and night led to arthritis and I collapsed from overwork. But my father would only drink and curse at my grandmother, taking her money. As a result, I developed a mental illness. I fell into depression," he confessed.

He continued, "In my second year of high school, I was taking antidepressants, and it was really hard. So I decided to commit suicide. The only place to fall was the beach. It was summer, and a typhoon was coming, with waves rising to 6 meters. I jumped into the sea to die. I even drank the water, thinking I would survive if I just fell in. But the waves hit me and pushed me onto the rocks," he recalled.

He added, "I was taken to the emergency room like that. My grandmother was crying so much when she saw me. Seeing that broke my heart. I felt like I had committed a great sin against my grandmother," he said, shedding tears.

Meanwhile, 'Oh Eun-young Stay' airs every Monday at 9:10 PM.
