The 40th anniversary debut album of "the diva of trot," singer Kim Yong-im, is being released.

The new regular album "The Greatest Woman," released to commemorate Kim Yong-im's 40th anniversary, is her first new release in about a year since "The Road to Jeokbyeok" was released last June. This work captures her confident and bold charm, consisting of a total of 16 tracks, including the title track "The Greatest Woman," 9 additional songs, and 6 MR audio tracks.

The title track "The Greatest Woman" is an anthem for all women in this era, where confidence is a virtue, encouraging those living their daily lives to call themselves "the greatest." Kim Yong-im describes herself as "the greatest woman that will never be seen again," expressing the confidence of a woman who boldly shows love without any games.

This song was composed and arranged by Jeong Kyung-cheon, a legendary composer in the music industry who has created numerous hit songs such as Lee Sun-hee's "To J," Jin Sung's "At Andong Station," and Hyun-cheol's "Name Tag of Love," resulting in a high-quality masterpiece that enhances Kim Yong-im's unique charm.

Additionally, the included song "My Song" is a piece worked on by composer Gong Jeong-sik, with whom Kim Yong-im has collaborated for about 30 years, and she participated in the lyrics, adding deeper meaning to the song.

She candidly expressed the emotions she felt over her 40 years as a singer, including the pain of her unknown days and the ongoing struggles, in collaboration with lyricist So San. The lyrics, "As long as I am alive, as long as I exist, my song will not stop, it will not end," convey her passionate love for singing and her strong will to continue as a singer.

Following that, the song "Thunder Sound," which expresses the hidden intense feelings behind a quiet exterior, encourages women to honestly express their emotions. Additionally, listeners can enjoy a variety of new songs, including the emotional trot "Cactus," which compares eternal love and endless longing to a cactus, and the disco-style cheerful love confession song "For a Lifetime," which is perfect for wedding celebrations and proposals.

The album also includes 5 previously released hit songs: "The Road to Jeokbyeok," "Life Clock," "Love Journey," "In Front of the Mirror," and "Thousand-Year Crane," completing a richer 40th anniversary debut album.

Kim Yong-im debuted in the music industry in 1984 with the song "Magnolia," and this year marks her 40th anniversary. She has released numerous hit songs such as "Love's Rope" and "Life Like a Floating Seaweed," showcasing her unique presence with a clear tone and sophisticated singing style that exemplifies traditional trot. With the release of this album, she plans to be more active in broadcasts, concerts, and dinner shows.

Kim Yong-im's 40th anniversary debut album "The Greatest Woman" will be released today, the 28th, at 12 PM through various music streaming sites.
