Actor Ha Jung-woo's new film 'Broken' has risen to first place in overall pre-sales. Can it wash away the previous slump and maintain the pride of being 'Chungmuro's guaranteed hit'?
According to the integrated ticketing system for movie theaters on the 3rd, the film 'Broken' recorded a pre-sale rate of 22.7% as of 1 PM, taking the lead. It surpassed the holiday hits 'Hitman 2' starring Kwon Sang-woo and 'The Black Nun' starring Song Hye-kyo.
The film is a crime action story that follows Min-tae's furious pursuit to uncover the truth of that night, where everything is intertwined: his brother who returned as a corpse, his missing wife, and a bestselling novel that predicted the incident.
With a relentless narrative, vibrant characters, and the powerful synergy of top-notch actors' performances, it is being spotlighted as a crime thriller that will captivate the theaters in February. Ha Jung-woo and Kim Nam-gil star, with rookie director Kim Jin-hwang at the helm.
Scheduled for release on February 5.
