Actress Ra Mi-ran reminisced about her childhood.
In the episode aired on the 2nd, tvN’s ‘Outside the Tent: Europe - Romantic Italy Edition’ featured Ra Mi-ran, Kwak Sun-young, Lee Joo-bin, and Lee Se-young heading to Munich, the home of beer, festivals, and art.
On that day, Ra Mi-ran couldn’t take her eyes off the green valley of Hallstatt. She recalled, “When I was young, my hometown was a coal mining village. The rivers were always black. There was dust everywhere.”
She continued, “One day, I went to my relative's house in the mountains of Gangwon-do. I saw a valley like this. The whole way to that house, I kept saying, ‘Mom, look at that water. The water is so clear.’”
When Kwak Sun-young asked, “How amazing was that?” Ra Mi-ran replied, “Doesn’t it sound like a really old story?” and became emotional.
