The final winning university that will conclude the popular brain survival show will finally be revealed today (27th).
In episode 8 of Coupang Play's variety show ‘University War’ Season 2, the last three universities that survived the fierce competition will face off for the championship title, including Seoul National University, which returned victorious from a death match against POSTECH, Yonsei University, which has never experienced a death match, and KAIST, which has shown unstoppable skills since returning from the death match.
The semifinal game ‘Code Breaking’ requires participants to deduce the rules of the in-game cipher and the locations of obstacles based on input and output results. The rules have been enhanced to include roles within the team, with one person remaining at the base camp to decode cipher hints and three others in the main hall to decode the overall cipher, adding a level of tension appropriate for a semifinal.
Despite the unprecedented difficulty of the game rules, participants from each university are depicted confidently tackling the challenges with remarks like “I won’t get it wrong,” “Want to submit the answer quickly?” and “This is insane,” hinting at an intense brain battle among the top three universities.
Through the semifinals, one university will be immediately eliminated without a death match, while the two remaining universities will compete in the highly anticipated final game for the championship. The first final game, ‘Triple Maze,’ also promises extreme difficulty, raising viewers' tension. The extreme game rules require participants to navigate a maze made up of red, blue, and green walls solely in their minds within a strict time limit of two minutes, drawing attention to which school will lead the first final match to victory and ultimately win.
As the final episode approaches, viewer anticipation is heating up. Fans are expressing their hopes for their favorite teams, saying things like “KAIST’s teamwork is great, they might win this time,” “Seoul National University is unbeatable.
