Singer Lee Sang-mi, formerly of the band EX, is starting anew with New Era Project.
On the 20th, New Era Project announced, "We have recently signed an exclusive contract with Lee Sang-mi. We will spare no effort in providing active support so that the artist can fully showcase her talents."
In a video released through New Era Project's official SNS, Lee Sang-mi expressed, "I have gained strong new family members. Therefore, I am preparing to greet you again with new music. I will also communicate closely with you through various activities, so please always welcome me and join me," adding, "I will engage in activities positively and energetically, just like myself."
Lee Sang-mi made her debut in the entertainment industry after participating as the vocalist of the band EX in the 2005 MBC College Song Festival, where she won the grand prize with "Nice to meet you." She has since released the OST for the TV cartoon "Janggeum's Dream," the single "Please Contact Me," and the full album "Tell The Story."
In particular, Lee Sang-mi gained attention for her unique vocal style and distinctive stage manner, creating the "Lee Sang-mi Syndrome." With her extensive experience as an MC, she has appeared on various broadcasting programs, earning a beloved image.
