Singer Nam Yu-jeong will join 'Kim Jun-ho's Fencing Academy.'
Nam Yu-jeong will appear in the sports web entertainment show 'Kim Jun-ho's Fencing Academy,' which will be first released on the afternoon of the 28th.
'Kim Jun-ho's Fencing Academy' is a new project started by Kim Jun-ho, a former national fencing gold medalist and current coach at Hwaseong City Hall. The goal is to train four artists from the basics and have them compete in amateur fencing tournaments to win actual medals.
In addition to Nam Yu-jeong, 'Kim Jun-ho's Fencing Academy' will feature KBS announcer Lee Yoon-jung, actress Han Jae-in, and singer-songwriter EJel, who placed third in JTBC's 'Singer Gain 3.' The four will transform from participants into athletes under Coach Kim Jun-ho's guidance.
Nam Yu-jeong expressed, "I am honored to be introduced to the unique sport of fencing," and added, "I have always been timid and lacking in courage, but I want to thank Coach Kim Jun-ho for motivating me over the past few months to try something on my own."
She also mentioned, "There were times when I felt mentally and physically exhausted from training almost every day, aside from filming, but I was able to stay focused thanks to the coaches who always supported me, the fellow trainees, the fans cheering for me, the filming crew, and the company. Initially, my goal was to win a medal, but now I find meaning in the challenge itself and aim to enjoy the process. Please watch me grow."
Nam Yu-jeong has been active as a versatile entertainer, making a mark with her charming talk and unique sense in various broadcasts, including KBS2's 'Ppaegopa' and ENA's 'Hype Voice Scout.'
