BTS member Jin congratulated RM and V on their discharge from military service.
On the 10th, RM and V completed their military service and held a live broadcast on the fan communication platform Weverse around 12 PM.
On this day, Jin made a surprise appearance during RM and V's discharge live broadcast. Wearing a red ribbon on his head, Jin said to the two, "Congratulations on your discharge. I am the gift," bringing laughter.
When Jin asked V, "What are you going to do now?" V replied, "I've rested a lot, so I guess I should do something now?" After handing over a bouquet, Jin asked, "(J-Hope) didn't come, right?" and RM and V responded, "He came and went."
RM and V, who enlisted together in December 2023, served in the Army's 15th Infantry Division Military Band in Hwacheon and the 2nd Army Corps Military Police Special Duty Team (SDT) in Chuncheon, respectively, and were discharged on this day.
With RM and V's discharge following Jin and J-Hope, four out of the seven BTS members have now returned to civilian status. Jimin and Jungkook will be discharged on the 11th, while Suga (Min Yoongi), who is serving as a social service agent, will be released from service on the 21st.
As a result, BTS's military hiatus, which began in December 2022, will conclude in June. Given that their agency, HYBE, has expressed hope for BTS's full group activities in 2025, the industry anticipates that a new album from BTS will be released as early as the end of this year or at the latest in the first half of next year.
