Koo Jun-yup (56), a member of the group Clon, has reportedly considered moving near Geumbosan, where his late wife Seo Hee-won (Shu Shiyuan) is buried, instead of returning to Korea.
Local media, including Taiwan's ET Today, reported on the 19th that "about two months ago, Koo Jun-yup visited a newly built apartment near Geumbosan," according to testimonies from local residents. The apartment is located in an area with excellent natural scenery, and some units are said to have a view of Geumbosan.
However, the actual status of the sale has not been confirmed. Seo Hee-won's mother stated, "I have not heard such a thing. However, Koo Jun-yup really loved Hee-won."

Last month on the 12th, she also revealed a photo of the thin Koo Jun-yup. In the photo, Koo Jun-yup appeared to have lost so much weight that his collarbone and neck bones were visible, evoking sympathy. His mother-in-law added, "My son-in-law Koo Jun-yup is getting thinner day by day as he misses Hee-won."
Koo Jun-yup and Seo Hee-won dated for about a year in 1998 before breaking up. Afterward, Seo Hee-won married Chinese businessman Wang Shoubi in 2001 and had a son and a daughter, but they divorced in 2021. Upon hearing this news, Koo Jun-yup contacted Seo Hee-won's old number, and the two dramatically reunited and married in 2022.
Their love story, like a drama, was passionate but could not escape tragedy. Seo Hee-won passed away from acute pneumonia during a trip to Japan last February, and Koo Jun-yup fell into deep sorrow, refusing to eat or drink. Nevertheless, he visits Geumbosan every day, where his wife's remains are kept, and is creating a statue to honor her.
In bidding farewell to his wife, Koo Jun-yup expressed his heart-wrenching feelings, saying, "I am going through a time of pain that feels like my insides are being torn apart, in a sorrow and agony that cannot be expressed in words."
