Singer JK Kim Dong-wook has drawn attention by making remarks that seem to target singer Lee Seung-hwan, who has shown a different political stance.

On the 4th, JK Kim Dong-wook posted on his SNS, "Superficial progress (JIN), actually regression (Bo)." This appears to be a jab at Lee Seung-hwan's earlier post stating "From regression to progress" ahead of the presidential election results.

In fact, the two have publicly displayed opposing political inclinations. JK Kim Dong-wook has revealed his conservative political stance, including opposition to the impeachment of former President Yoon Seok-youl last year. In contrast, Lee Seung-hwan has supported the impeachment of former President Yoon and has participated in candlelight vigils, performing at those events. Additionally, the two have expressed various political views through their SNS.

After Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party candidate, was elected president with 49.42% (17,287,513 votes) in the 21st presidential election, JK Kim Dong-wook immediately shared his opinion. He had previously supported Kim Moon-soo, the presidential candidate of the People Power Party, stating, "Good morning. Time to save the country together."

JK Kim Dong-wook expressed his disappointment, saying, "In the end, the result was that we ended up including songs that should not have been included. With this anxiety, I naturally had to write such songs." He added, "It seems that there will be more time spent singing about the world we should not have to experience rather than love songs."

Lee Seung-hwan did not post anything significant regarding the election results. Meanwhile, singer Harim, who had also taken the stage at a rally calling for former President Yoon's resignation, shared on SNS, "Just like a long time ago when I bravely faced angry people while wearing shoes and climbing the mountain path together, I hope you continue to have courage and work in front of everyone," along with a photo from a past protest with President Lee Jae-myung.

He continued, "I hope to protect all those who work for the people they love. I hope we can end this era of hatred and anger by singing together."

JK Kim Dong-wook is a Korean-Canadian who immigrated to Canada during high school and obtained Canadian citizenship. Although he does not have the right to vote in Korea, he has been expressing his opinions while keeping an eye on Korean affairs.

He strongly criticized the acquittal of President Lee Jae-myung during the appeal trial for violating the Public Official Election Act, saying, "I hope you meet a good judge even if you commit a crime in the future. There is no law, only political trash running rampant in this country."

He also lamented, "The rule of law in the Republic of Korea is collapsing" during the time of President Yoon's arrest.
