It has been revealed that singer Im Jin was subjected to abuse by on-site staff during the rehearsal for the '2025 Cheonan K-Culture Expo', and the agency has announced a strong response.
On the 5th, Im Jin's agency Big Planet Made Entertainment stated, "We are very regretful about the inappropriate remarks and rude responses from the on-site staff towards Im Jin during the rehearsal on the day of the event."
They continued, "We always prioritize the protection of our artists. Given the seriousness of this matter and in order to protect our artist, we will respond strongly to the event organizers and the production company. We will also take all necessary measures to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future."
They added, "We apologize for the inconvenience caused to our fans, and we will do our utmost to ensure that our artists can work in a safe and respectful environment."
On the 4th, Im Jin attended the '2025 Cheonan K-Culture Expo'. During the rehearsal, a staff member was seen using informal language towards Im Jin and forcibly interrupting the rehearsal, which sparked controversy on social media.
In response, the 2025 Cheonan K-Culture Expo organizers stated on their official account on the 5th, "An unfortunate incident occurred due to communication issues among the on-site staff during the rehearsal for the opening ceremony performance," and expressed their sincere apologies to the audience and fans.
They continued, "After the incident, the staff member apologized politely to the artist and related parties, and we have issued a strong warning and conducted internal training for the event management agency and the staff to prevent such situations from occurring in the future," reiterating their apology.
