
Singer Hwang Young-woong has made a warm donation to spread positive influence.
The Dongbang Social Welfare Association (Chairperson Kim Jin-sook) announced on the 5th that singer Hwang Young-woong donated 1.5 million won for children in educational blind spots.
This donation is the entire prize money from the 'Good Star' May King of Kings competition, a meaningful sharing between Hwang Young-woong and his fans. The donation will be used to provide tailored educational support for children who lack educational opportunities, appropriate to their life stages. Including this donation, the total accumulated donation amount reaches 39.55 million won.
Previously, on May 28, Hwang Young-woong released his second digital single album 'Knitted Clothes', conveying his unique and emotionally resonant appeal. He participated in writing and composing the song, garnering significant attention from fans. Additionally, he is planning a nationwide concert in June and is also preparing for active broadcasting activities in the second half of the year.
The Dongbang Social Welfare Association, established in 1972, has upheld its founding ideology and values of 'realizing the value of life' for the past 53 years, providing comprehensive welfare services to marginalized neighbors such as children and youth, single-parent families, people with disabilities, the elderly, and Filipino-Kopino families.
