Rolling Hall, the mecca of Hongdae music, is celebrating its 30th anniversary by hosting its first large-scale festival, the '2025 Sound Planet Festival', and has revealed the first lineup.
The '2025 Sound Planet Festival', taking place from September 13 to 14 at Paradise City, is themed 'Feel the Waves, Touch the Stars', designed to provide a stage for experiencing a new dimension of sensation beyond reality through music.
The first lineup, officially announced on the festival's account at noon on the 17th, includes YB, the icon of Korean rock and the pinnacle of stage energy, Cherry Filter, the unstoppable energy maker of the rock scene, Nell, the representative of delicate emotional rock, and the introspective yet sometimes aggressive singer-songwriter Lee Seung-yoon, along with Broken Valentine, Damon's Ear, Song So-hee, Can't Be Blue, KARDI, City, Hathaway, and Japan's representative rock band envy, MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS, totaling 13 teams.
In particular, YB and envy are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year, adding deep significance alongside Rolling Hall's 30th anniversary. The two teams, who have maintained their unique musical worlds for a long time, plan to share profound emotions with the audience by reflecting on their time and musical trajectory with Rolling Hall on this stage.
In this regard, Rolling Hall's CEO Kim Cheon-seong stated, "Sound Planet is a stage that goes beyond a simple festival, embodying the musical depth and new vision that Rolling Hall has built over 30 years. Although it is still a secret, we are also preparing events that will surprise many fans. I hope you will experience this special stage created by artists with their own worldviews."
Meanwhile, ticket reservation schedules and detailed program information for the '2025 Sound Planet Festival' will be gradually revealed through the official website and social media channels, and limited early bird tickets will be available on Melon Ticket starting at 2 PM on the 21st.
