New actress Kim Min-joo has been cast in the Korean version of the movie 'The Girl We Liked That Year.'

Kim Min-joo will play the role of Yoon Ji-soo in 'The Girl We Liked That Year' (directed by Jo Young-myung, written by Kim Jin-kyung). She portrays a high school student with a cheerful and bright energy and a positive mindset. She works hard for her dreams more than anyone else. Although she sometimes feels upset when things don't go well, she is a character who finds happiness in her friendship with the friends who are by her side, showcasing a pure side.

The Taiwanese original 'The Girl We Liked That Year' is a legendary romance film that sparked a first love craze in Korea. This remake has achieved the remarkable feat of securing overseas pre-sales just with the casting news of Kim Min-joo, Jin-young, and Da-hyun. Additionally, it has been officially invited to the 'Korean Cinema Today - Panorama' section of the 29th Busan International Film Festival, garnering attention both domestically and internationally even before its release.

Da-hyun plays the role of the pure and determined Seon-ah, perfectly complementing Jin-young (playing Gu Jin-woo) to provide excitement and emotion to the audience. Kim Min-joo is also emerging as a top contender this year by embodying a cute and charming character in this work.

Kim Min-joo has been steadily building her filmography through various short films such as 'Backbiting,' 'Life is Egg,' 'New Employee,' and 'Polaroid Return Law.' 'The Girl We Liked That Year' is set to continue meeting audiences even in its second week of release.
