‘The Master of Melodrama’ Im Sung-han (Phoebe) is returning with her new work ‘Doctor Shin’.
According to TV CHOSUN on the 13th, writer Im will present the drama ‘Doctor Shin’ in the first half of next year. It will be her first work in three years since ‘Assi Durian’ aired in 2023. This will be Im's first medical thriller melodrama, depicting the events that unfold after a genius doctor’s beloved woman experiences an accidental incident. It is reported that auditions will be held to select the main and supporting cast.
Writer Im Sung-han will collaborate with TV Chosun for the fourth time, following ‘Marriage Lyrics Divorce Composition’ Seasons 1-3 (2021-2022) and ‘Assi Durian’ with ‘Doctor Shin’.
In addition, TV Chosun will air the drama ‘Confidence Man KR’ starring actors Park Min-young and Park Hee-soon on September 6. In November, ‘There’s No Next Life’ featuring Kim Hee-sun, Han Hye-jin, and Jin Seo-yeon will be released.
TV Chosun stated, “We have significantly expanded our drama lineup,” and added, “Please pay attention to the rise of TV CHOSUN dramas that have written a new history for cable channel dramas.”
