Sunye, a former member of the group Wonder Girls, suddenly deleted her tribute to the late Charlie Kirk.

On the 16th, Sunye posted a tribute video for Charlie Kirk on her Instagram, along with the contents of 1 John 4:9-10.

The posted video features a woman standing at a podium that reads, "Charlie can rest in the merciful arms of our beloved Savior, Jesus."

However, Sunye deleted the post shortly after uploading it.

Charlie Kirk, a symbol of American youth conservatism, was shot and killed on the 10th (local time) during a lecture for the 'American Comeback Tour' at Utah Valley University in Utah.

Charlie Kirk founded the American youth conservative organization 'Turning Point USA' in 2012 and has publicly supported President Donald Trump. He also served as a personal advisor to Donald Trump Jr., the president's eldest son.

He supported gun ownership based on Christian values and criticized abortion, homosexuality, and transgender rights.

Members of the group Super Junior, including Choi Siwon, and actors Jin Seoyeon and Choi Junyong also posted tributes to Charlie Kirk on social media. In response, some netizens criticized their tributes, citing Kirk's past racist and misogynistic remarks.

As controversy arose, with some Super Junior fans demanding Choi Siwon's departure from the group, he clarified after deleting the tribute that he mourned the tragedy, which was heartbreaking regardless of political views.
