Singer Yoo Seung-jun has represented his position while promoting the politically colored documentary 'The War of Founding 2'.
On the 16th, Yoo Seung-jun posted the poster for 'The War of Founding 2' on his SNS, stating, "Twisted and distorted truths. A must see movie."
'The War of Founding 2' is a follow-up documentary to the right-leaning film 'The War of Founding', which attracted 1.17 million viewers last year, and it deals with the Jeju 4·3 incident.
Through this, Yoo Seung-jun seems to indirectly express his grievances about his situation.
Meanwhile, the 5th Administrative Division of the Seoul Administrative Court ruled in favor of Yoo Seung-jun in the first trial of his lawsuit against the Consul General of Los Angeles regarding the cancellation of his visa issuance on the 28th of last month. However, the court dismissed Yoo Seung-jun's lawsuit against the Ministry of Justice regarding the confirmation of the non-existence of the entry ban decision.
Immediately after the court's ruling, Yoo Seung-jun expressed his feelings, saying, "How nice it would be if I could learn life without mistakes and regrets. Life is something you gradually realize as wrinkles increase and white hairs grow. No one is an exception. You only realize how precious something was after losing it. I am truly a foolish person."
Yoo Seung-jun was once a top singer in Korea and had expressed his intention to enlist in the military, but he faced criticism for suddenly obtaining U.S. citizenship and evading his military duty. Since 2002, he has been banned from entering Korea.
