Actress Ra Mi-ran talked about the coins she owns.

On the morning of the 16th, a press conference for the new MBC Friday-Saturday drama “Let’s Go to the Moon” (written by Na Yoon-chae, directed by Oh Da-young and Jeong Hoon) was held at the new MBC building in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by Lee Sun-bin, Ra Mi-ran, Jo Ah-ram, Kim Young-dae, and PD Oh Da-young.

“Let’s Go to the Moon” is a hyper-realistic survival story about three women from humble beginnings who dive into coin investment because they cannot survive on their salaries alone.

Ra Mi-ran plays the role of Kang Eun-sang from the Maron Confectionery sales team. Kang Eun-sang is a character who is always thinking about making money. She is interested in the economy but has not earned anything. She has failed in various ventures, including stocks, Airbnb, street food, and market stalls, squandering her assets.

What kind of investments is Ra Mi-ran actually making? Ra Mi-ran explained, “I own coins,” adding, “I have 500,000 won worth of Ethereum.”

She continued, “I invested 500,000 won about 4-5 years ago, and it went up to 600,000 won, then down to 400,000 won, fluctuating a lot. I don’t know how to retrieve it, so I just left it there,” revealing that she is unexpectedly in a long-term investment, which brought laughter.

She added, “I didn’t even know what J-curve meant among the coin terms in the script. I was thinking, ‘When will it go up? Mine isn’t going up.’ It’s hard to explain because I don’t understand it myself. I thought about studying coins, but I felt like if I did it half-heartedly, I would get into big trouble, so I didn’t study further,” she joked.

Ra Mi-ran also playfully added, “I will hold on until my 500,000 won becomes 5 billion.”

“Let’s Go to the Moon” will premiere on the 19th at 9:50 PM.
