Actor Lee Pil-mo confessed his longing for his late mother and revealed that he has not yet informed his father about her passing.

On the 15th, the Channel A entertainment program 'Close Friends Documentary: Four-Person Dining Table' aired, showcasing the daily life of actor Lee Pil-mo, who has been in the industry for 27 years. He invited his college friends from Seoul Arts University, Lee Jong-hyuk and Kim Min-kyu, to his home for an honest conversation.

On that day, Lee Pil-mo reminisced about his mother's exceptional financial management skills, saying, "I couldn't manage money well, but my mother saved and accumulated it, which allowed me to be where I am today. I would spend a few hundred thousand won from my earnings, and if it exceeded ten million won, I would give it to my mother. I did this for 20 years, and she used that money to acquire a building," expressing his gratitude.

However, his mother passed away from a cerebral infarction in 2023. Lee Pil-mo stated, "I wanted to do everything I could for her on her last journey," and confessed, "I arranged a funeral hall for her and did not consider the costs for food and funeral procedures."

Lee Pil-mo revealed that he had not informed his father about his mother's death, which surprised many. He said, "I still haven't told my father that my mother has passed away," and added, "My father was also hospitalized four days after my mother, and due to his declining hearing and memory, I struggled with how to convey the news, and ultimately, I still haven't said anything."

He expressed, "I think my father has a vague sense of it. However, he has never asked me about it. Even though it has been two years since she passed, he has not mentioned it," conveying his heavy heart.
