The OST of the Netflix animated film 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' (hereafter 'K-Demon') has reached the top of the Billboard main singles chart 'Hot 100' and the album chart 'Billboard 200' in the United States.
According to the latest Billboard chart released on the 15th (local time), the OST 'Golden' from 'K-Demon' has maintained its position at the top of the singles chart for the fifth consecutive week.
Additionally, the 'K-Demon' OST has also claimed the number one spot on the Billboard main album chart 'Billboard 200' for the first time this week, achieving a remarkable feat of topping both the singles and album charts simultaneously.
It has been five years since a K-pop song and album simultaneously topped both charts, the last being BTS's album 'BE' and its title track 'Life Goes On' in December 2020.
In addition to 'Golden', 'Your Idol', 'Soda Pop', and 'How It's Done' ranked 4th, 5th, and 8th respectively, marking an impressive entry of four tracks from the 'K-Demon' OST into the top 10.

Billboard's 'Hot 100' compiles rankings based on U.S. streaming data, radio airplay scores, and sales data.
During this charting period, 'Golden' recorded 33.8 million streams, a 2% decrease from the previous week. Radio airplay scores increased by 19% to 26.3 million, and sales rose by 11% to 8,000.
Released on June 20, 'K-Demon' tells the story of a K-pop idol group fighting evil spirits to protect the world through their music, and has been praised for its engaging portrayal of Korean culture.
The work has also become the most-watched title on Netflix.
