Freelance host MC Bae has revealed that she has not received her appearance fees for a year.
On the 1st, MC Bae posted on her Instagram account, "Why am I not being paid for the work I did? It's already been a year. That's for 10 episodes. When I asked for help, there was NO contact, and I also have NO follow-up."
She added hashtags like "the sorrow of freelancers, the sorrow of not having a company, the sorrow of not having a contract."
As MC Bae expressed her grievances, her colleagues in the entertainment industry also showed their anger.
Comedian Kim Won-hyo commented, "This is the rotten reality of this industry. I've been asking for help for 20 years, isn't it time for you to help me now? Sue them and spread it on social media. That's the answer."
Broadcaster Jang Seong-kyu also wrote, "I'm upset. You must get what you deserve." Singer Bada said, "People like this who prey on the weak will face divine punishment. If they touch a national MC, the public will find out who they are. Please deposit the money while you can still say nice things."
