Comedian Lee Se-young confessed that she experienced a chilling incident in a bathroom early in the morning on the day she met her ex-boyfriend.

On the 10th, a video titled "Almost Died After Meeting My Japanese Ex-Boyfriend While Sharing Makeup Recommendations" was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Youngpyeong TV'.

In the video, Lee Se-young said, "I could have died where I went to meet my ex-boyfriend," adding, "All of my ex-boyfriend's close acquaintances overlap. We've been together for over five years."

She continued, "I heard how he has been doing after a long time. He said he is doing well in Japan these days and is also working as a PD. I thought it would be awkward to meet after such a long time, but it felt comfortable. It felt like seeing family after a long time."

She then explained, "Let me tell you why I almost died. We met in the evening and went out for drinks three times. We were eating at a place in the same building, and I needed to go to the bathroom. I couldn't use the store's bathroom, so I went to a nearby public restroom. Since it was early morning, I was sure I was the only one in the bathroom," adding, "While I was using the bathroom, I heard someone coming in. There were many stalls, but they went straight into the stall right next to mine. I thought I needed to finish quickly and get out, but it felt a bit strange. I stayed still, but that person also remained still. I started to get scared."

She also mentioned, "I am sensitive to sound, but I couldn't hear anything. Among all the stalls, the person entered the one next to mine and stayed silent for almost 10 minutes, which was terrifying. I thought I might be overreacting, so I finished up and intentionally called a friend to bring me some toilet paper," explaining, "I was signaling that someone was coming. A little while later, my friend came to the bathroom. I quickly took care of things and came out, but the stall next to me had its door closed. It meant someone was there, which made me even more scared. As soon as I came out of the bathroom, I grabbed my friends' hands and ran."

She added, "I went back into the store to explain the situation to my friends, but I felt uneasy, so I went back to the bathroom. However, chillingly, the door was open. The person who had been in the stall next to me came out less than a minute after we ran out. I wondered how that timing could be. At that moment, I felt that if I hadn't trusted my instincts, something bad could have happened to me. I think it's especially important to go to open bathrooms with acquaintances late at night."

Lee Se-young revealed that she had been in a public relationship with a younger Korean-Japanese boyfriend since 2019 and was preparing for marriage, but announced her broken engagement in 2023.
