KBS is presenting a historical drama for the first time in two years since 'The Goryeo-Khitan War'.
On the 14th, KBS revealed its drama lineup scheduled for this fall and next year through its YouTube channel 'KBS Drama'.
The new historical drama 'Great King Munmu' (대왕문무) highlights the historical victory of the small nation Silla as it defeats Goguryeo, Baekje, and the Tang Dynasty to achieve the unification of the Three Kingdoms. It portrays the image of a great leader who realizes the value of national unity amid national difficulties, delivering the message, "How should we live in this era?".
In addition, KBS is strengthening its weekend drama lineup on 2TV. It plans to establish itself as a new stronghold in weekend prime time by consecutively airing various genre dramas such as the action hero series 'Twelve' and the human crime thriller 'Eunsu's Good Day'.
A representative stated, "As indicated by the subtitle 'Word of Mouth is Spreading' in the comprehensive preview, viewer expectations are high," and added, "The specific scheduling date for 'Great King Munmu' will be announced later."
