Singer BoA expressed her frustration over negative comments and misunderstandings during her time with the group God The Beat.

On the 6th, a video titled 'BoA, the director, is asking for the channel to be handed over, it's really crazier / Bobsahyo2' was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Hyoyeon's Level Up'.

In this video, BoA and Hyoyeon reminisced about their time working together as members of God The Beat. God The Beat is an SM project girl group that included BoA, Girls' Generation's Taeyeon and Hyoyeon, Red Velvet's Seulgi and Wendy, and aespa's Karina and Winter.

Hyoyeon said, "I learned a lot from watching you when we were in the same team. I tend to think, 'I've done enough' and then regret it later, but you check the movements until it’s perfect."

BoA confessed, "When it comes to filming, I make the most mistakes. I get really nervous. I've never done movements like that before, so I kept messing up. It was embarrassing. I thought, 'This is awkward, what should I do?'"

Hyoyeon also mentioned, "I heard that you wanted to experience group activities. You were curious about what it feels like since you've been a solo artist for decades," to which BoA replied, "I was curious, but I think I don't need to do it."

She stated, "There are so many misunderstandings," adding, "People think God The Beat was created because of me, but that's really not the case. I didn't want to do it and kept running away. I sent messages saying, 'I don't think this is my place' and refused. There were a lot of negative comments. I got criticized even after doing it. I was really upset."
