Broadcaster Ahn Sun-young answered questions about her divorce honestly.

On the 16th, Ahn Sun-young posted a lamenting message on her SNS saying, "It's a half-life." She shared, "I flew 14 hours, and I became a mother who doesn't want to video call because my hair has turned white, going to the bathhouse with my daughter, scrubbing her back, going to the nail salon and doing matching flashy gel nails so that I remember my daughter every time I see her nails, dyeing her hair with my clumsy skills, and preparing home-cooked meals with her favorite grilled flounder, so my guilt for not taking care of my mom has somewhat subsided," expressing her feelings of guilt towards her mother whom she cannot visit often as she currently resides in Canada.

She continued, "On the other side of the earth, my young son says, 'I was with mom 24 hours, and now that mom is gone to Korea, it feels like there's a hole in my heart,' which pricks my heart and gives me a mix of painful and joyful emotions," revealing her longing for her son.

She stated, "When I'm in Toronto, I always think of my mom in Seoul, who is confused and surprised every day, not knowing where she is, and when I'm in Seoul, I miss my son who longs for his mother's embrace. This half-life, where I feel guilty on both sides and can't do either, has begun," evoking sympathy.

In response, a netizen commented, "You haven't divorced your husband, right?" To this, Ahn Sun-young honestly replied, "We haven't matched as a couple for a few years and don't go out together, but as parents, we work well together, living 'separately yet together' according to our respective lives."

She added, "What is the psychology behind asking such questions in public comments? It can't just be simple curiosity; it's not like we're children, and digging into something I don't want to talk about feels close to bullying," expressing her displeasure.

Meanwhile, Ahn Sun-young married a businessman three years younger than her in 2013 and has a son. She recently moved to Canada for her son, who plays ice hockey.
