Will the glory of 'Exit' be recreated? The pink-tinted exorcism drama starring actors An Bo-hyun and Yoona, 'The Devil Has Moved In', has unveiled its veil amidst high expectations.

Director Lee Sang-geun opened up at the press screening and media conference for the movie 'The Devil Has Moved In' (directed by Lee Sang-geun) held at Yongsan CGV on the 6th, saying, "When I made my first film 'Exit', I was really nervous because I didn't know anything, but now I feel even more nervous. It would be a lie to say there is no pressure."

Director Lee continued, "I received a lot of love for 'Exit', and there was a lot of pressure about what kind of work would come next. I thought that if I did well, people would like it again, and I am curious about the audience's reaction."

He added, "This time, I dealt with the theme of young unemployed people again, and since I have spent a long time as a jobless aspiring film director, I think I was drawn to such themes. I focused on the stories of young people, but next time I want to create characters from new professions instead of the unemployed."

Additionally, he expressed, "I hope the box office score is such that the people who made this movie do not suffer losses."

The film is a human romantic comedy about a young unemployed man, Gil-gu (An Bo-hyun), who gets caught up in a bizarre part-time job monitoring Seon-ji (Im Yoona), who wakes up as a devil every dawn.

Im Yoona, who embodies both an angelic human and a devil, shared, "I met the director again after 'Exit'. I had so much fun working on the previous project, and I was amazed by the director's attention to detail. I was happy to work together again with good memories."

She continued, "One of the director's great charms is that he captures and unfolds human stories well. 'Exit' cleverly contained family stories, and this time it is more about people, but I think the director's imagination is deeply infused with emotion and comedy."

Regarding her dual role as 'Seon-ji' and 'the devil', she explained, "I tried to make the difference between 'day Seon-ji' and 'night Seon-ji' (the devil) stand out by acting with a clear and pure styling and an introverted personality during the day, while 'night Seon-ji' was extravagantly styled from head to toe."

In particular, she shared her thoughts on the trademark 'devil's laugh', saying, "It wasn't easy. I hoped it would come out freely on set, so there was a practice process. The director showed me directly, and the illustrations in the storyboard were very helpful."

"While playing Seon-ji, I think she is the most energetic character I've played so far. So during filming, I wanted to boldly try everything I wanted to do without holding back."

She added, "I thought that if I express it well as it is, the charm of 'Seon-ji' would be well captured, so I looked into it a lot."

An Bo-hyun plays a fantasy-like pure-hearted man who does everything he can to protect the female lead he fell in love with at first sight. He introduced his character, saying, "I played Gil-gu, who has a clumsy appearance but a gentle heart, a harmless charm. I took over the baton of the young unemployed from Yong-nam (played by Jo Jung-seok) in 'Exit'."

After seeing the film for the first time that day, he said, "I felt refreshed to see how the director's film was completed like this. When Yoona wiped her tears, I almost cried too. It was a fluffy and good movie, and I enjoyed it," adding, "I hope it brings healing as it is a movie that can be watched comfortably."

Director Lee Sang-geun explained the reason for casting An Bo-hyun, saying, "He has a strong exterior but a soft interior." He added, "He has a boyish charm, and there was an overwhelming feeling when I first met him, but it wasn't just his appearance; he has aspects that resemble me inside."

He continued, "If he has shown a strong side in the past, I hope you will see a new side of him in this work."

An Bo-hyun mentioned, "I researched a lot about Gil-gu, but it was a character that was not easy to portray. I have played many characters with masculine traits, but in this work, I wanted to protect him, and since he is closer to an introverted character, I relied a lot on the director."

He added, "Since the character Gil-gu is projected onto the director, I focused on the director's requests. After watching the movie, I understood all of the director's directions."

The film features Im Yoona, An Bo-hyun, Joo Hyun-young, and Sung Dong-il, and is set to be released on the 13th.
