Actor Lee Byung-hun revealed a story about his son being disappointed in him.
On the 4th, during a press conference for the special screening of the 29th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN), he mentioned his participation in the voice dubbing for the Netflix movie 'K-Pop Demon Hunters'.
He said, "I have almost no movies to show my son," adding, "I have only shown him three films so far, and they are all rated for adults, so they are too violent and stimulating, so I just show him clips."
He continued, "Since he is still young, there are moments when he confuses the characters in TV dramas or movies with me."
Lee Byung-hun also shared, "Recently, we watched the 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' animation together because he thought he could watch it, but when I told him, 'Dad is the king of demons,' he looked at me with a really disappointed expression and said, 'I don't want to watch this anymore.'
He added, "Even when I explain to him that it's acting and a character, he still asks why I keep playing demons and frontmen, which seems to hurt him a bit. I guess he wishes his dad would play a good person."
Lee Byung-hun married actress Lee Min-jung in 2013, and they have one son and one daughter.
This year, Lee Byung-hun was selected as the main feature of BIFAN's popular program 'Actor of the Year Special'. BIFAN opened on the 3rd and will run for 11 days until the 13th in the Bucheon area.
