Actor Lee Byung-hun shared his son's review of 'K-Pop Demon Hunters'.
On the 27th, tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block' featured Maggie Kang, the director of Netflix's 'K-Pop Demon Hunters', as a guest.
On this day, director Maggie Kang praised Lee Byung-hun, who plays the demon Gwi-ma in Netflix's 'K-Pop Demon Hunters', saying, "His voice is so cool. The charisma is evident in his voice."
An interview with Lee Byung-hun related to this was also revealed. He said, "For a while, because of 'Squid Game', my son asked, 'Why does dad always play the bad guy?' and 'Is dad a villain specialist?' My son has hardly seen my works. So I told him, 'That's not true. I play good roles too.'
He continued, "Since 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' is an animation, I thought, 'Now there's a movie my son can watch,' so we watched it together. When my son asked, 'Who is dad?' I replied, 'Dad has no form. Fire will come out soon.' When my voice came out, my son asked, 'Is dad the villain?' and I said, 'Yes, I'm the Demon King.' I guess my son has now adapted to it and thought he should take my side. The Huntresses and the Lion Boys appear, and my son said, 'I'm not on their side. I hope dad wins.' It was really touching and heartwarming."
He added, "However, as we kept watching, I couldn't empathize with Gwi-ma. My son said, 'But he really is bad.' He watched with a disappointed face," which drew laughter.
Meanwhile, 'You Quiz on the Block' airs every Wednesday at 8:45 PM.
