Actor Lee Si-eon revealed the reason for his departure from 'I Live Alone'.
On the 27th, Lee Si-eon, Seo In-guk, and Tae Won-seok appeared as guests on the YouTube channel 'Naraesik'.
On that day, Lee Si-eon opened up, saying, "While doing a lot of variety shows, my confidence in acting actually decreased."
Lee Si-eon continued, "Anyway, I received attention for my acting and really wanted to do variety shows. That's why I joined 'I Live Alone'. I became a colleague with Park Na-rae. And 'I Live Alone' became successful. I was very happy and earned a lot of money."
He added, "One day, Lee Sang-yi came as a guest on 'I Live Alone'. Park Na-rae asked me, 'What do you think of Lee Sang-yi's acting?' and I was at a loss for words. I thought, 'How should I evaluate Lee Sang-yi's acting? What do I have to be proud of?' I am a senior to Lee Sang-yi and have acted before. I was overflowing with confidence in my acting. But after doing 'I Live Alone', winning the Best Award, and starting to earn money, I began to feel like a variety entertainer."
Lee Si-eon mentioned that seeing members of 'I Live Alone' like Giann 84, Park Na-rae, Han Hye-jin, and Jeon Hyun-moo, who are the best in their fields, made him lose confidence. He confessed, "I need to reach the top in acting to stand shoulder to shoulder with these friends, but I can't, and I often feel like I'm just going along with good friends. However, I think I still carry the burden of that struggle."
