Interest is growing in actress Song Da-eun (34), who has been embroiled in dating rumors with BTS member Jimin (30).
On the 27th, various online communities posted an article titled 'Heart Signal 2's Song Da-eun posted a video on TikTok.'
In the video, Song Da-eun was waiting for someone in front of an apartment elevator, and when the elevator door opened, Jimin appeared.
Upon seeing Song Da-eun, Jimin said, "Oh, you surprised me. Did you know I was coming in? I came without saying anything on purpose," and laughed.
Song Da-eun was born in 1991, making her four years older than Jimin, who was born in 1995.
She gained recognition in 2018 through Channel A's 'Heart Signal 2' and has also appeared in KBS2's drama 'Once Again' and tvN's two-part drama 'Outing' in 2020, actively working as an actress.
However, she has received more attention for issues outside of her acting activities.
In 2019, during the Burning Sun scandal, rumors circulated that she was connected to the incident after it was revealed that she had worked at the lounge bar Monkey Museum, which was previously operated by Big Bang's Seungri.
At that time, Song Da-eun's agency stated, "Song Da-eun and Seungri have been friends since school, and she is upset that the rumors have been distorted," and clarified, "She worked part-time for about a month when Monkey Museum opened in 2016, and she only helped out briefly because of her friendship with Seungri."
Since 2023, she has been at the center of attention due to multiple dating rumors with Jimin.
After some fans left negative comments, Song Da-eun expressed her frustration during a live broadcast in June, saying, "Just because the idol you like loves me doesn't mean I deserve to be criticized. I didn't pursue him first, so please don't say anything to me."
Meanwhile, Big Hit Music, BTS's agency, has not released any official statement regarding the dating rumors between Jimin and Song Da-eun.
