American pop singer Britney Spears (43) criticized the flight attendants after receiving a warning from authorities for smoking on a plane.

According to American media outlets such as TMZ, People, and ABC News, Britney Spears was on a private jet returning from Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to Los Angeles (LA) on the 22nd, where she allegedly violated federal aviation regulations by drinking alcohol and smoking.

On the 23rd, Britney Spears posted a video of herself laughing with a drink in hand, stating, "It was really funny yesterday. Most of the planes I've been on don't allow smoking, but this one was different."

She added, "I had vodka for the first time and felt really smart. I said I really wanted to smoke a cigarette. My friend put a cigarette in my mouth and lit it for me. So I thought this was a smoking plane."

According to aviation security laws, smoking on a plane is strictly prohibited, including e-cigarettes, as it can wear out the aircraft's air filtration equipment and lead to fires.

She stated, "I apologize to anyone I may have harmed," but also said, "The flight attendant contacted the authorities to report that I was smoking. It was so embarrassing that it felt excessive. That flight attendant didn't like me from the moment I boarded the plane. I wanted to get up from my seat, but he wouldn't allow it. It was really strange."

As Britney Spears' post became public, netizens reacted with comments such as "Ignorant," "Bad character," "No common sense," "Very dangerous behavior," "No smoking on planes is common sense," and "Blaming others after making a mistake."
