The members of ‘1 Night 2 Days’ wrapped up their eventful trip to Seoul and headed to Ulleungdo.
In the episode aired on the 19th, KBS2's entertainment program ‘1 Night 2 Days Season 4’ (hereafter ‘1 Night 2 Days’) depicted the final story of the six members' ‘One Night Ribbon Trip in Seoul’. The viewership rating was 6.3% (Nielsen Korea nationwide), ranking first in its time slot. The scene where Moon Se-yoon and Lee Joon, who had left for Ulleungdo first, gathered with the other four members after 14 hours soared to a peak rating of 9.9%.
In the final results of the sleeping arrangement lottery ‘Indoor Sleeping Hunters’ held at Namsan Seoul Tower, Kim Jong-min, Lee Joon, and Yoo Seon-ho won outdoor sleeping arrangements. After the lottery ended, the production team emphasized, “A really special sleeping arrangement has been prepared for today,” and the members confirmed for indoor sleeping couldn’t hide their excitement, asking, “Aren’t we going to a hotel?”
The sleeping location where the ‘1 Night 2 Days’ team arrived was in the middle of the Han River Bridge. The six members followed the production team under the bridge, where the only bridge under-viewing platform in the country, Gwangjin Bridge 8th Street, known as a hidden hot spot in Seoul, was located. The members, who were going to sleep in a special place, wrapped up the day while gazing at the sparkling night view of Seoul.
The next morning, the members began the wake-up mission ‘AI Music Quiz’. Moon Se-yoon and DinDin quickly answered two questions, confirming their early departure, followed by Jo Se-ho and Lee Joon. Kim Jong-min and Yoo Seon-ho, who couldn’t answer two questions until the end, completed the ‘One Night Ribbon Trip in Seoul’ with a ‘Taebo Follow Dance’ mission for about 30 minutes.
A new journey for the ‘1 Night 2 Days’ team began. Two days before the main filming, the production team suddenly announced to the members, “Only two lucky people among you will have a special trip starting the day before,” and conducted a lottery through video calls to select the winners.
As a result of the lottery, Moon Se-yoon and Lee Joon were selected as the main characters. They started filming ‘1 Night 2 Days’ a day early at Pohang Yeongilman Port to board the cruise heading to Ulleungdo, the destination of this trip. The two were initially gloomy about the 2 Nights 3 Days schedule but were amazed by the luxurious cruise that exceeded their expectations.
Moon Se-yoon and Lee Joon, who wagered 30,000 won per game, faced off against the production team in a total of three matches, recording 2 wins and 1 loss, securing a total of 60,000 won to order fried chicken and dried pollack for a late-night snack. The two enjoyed the cruise trip by igniting excitement at the onboard pub and coin karaoke.
The next morning, after arriving in Ulleungdo, Moon Se-yoon and Lee Joon conducted a meal payment lottery with the PD after finishing their meal. As a result, the PD won and generously paid for the staff's meal cost of 460,000 won. Moon Se-yoon continued the warm atmosphere by paying for the coffee.
Kim Jong-min, Jo Se-ho, DinDin, and Yoo Seon-ho, who did not win the 2 Nights 3 Days trip, took a passenger ferry from Donghae Mukho Port to Ulleungdo. However, shortly after departure, the boat began to rock severely due to the waves, and everyone started to feel seasick, affecting the staff's condition as well.
While everyone was suffering from seasickness, Kim Jong-min suddenly said, “You should eat squid at times like this,” revealing unexpected seasickness overcoming tips. In response, the production team conducted a ‘Se-yoon & Joon Quiz’ game where they had to guess the whereabouts of Moon Se-yoon and Lee Joon, who had left the night before, with the snack budget at stake.
Various TMI questions were posed, from the number of underwear the two packed to the late-night snack menu, the song titles and scores sung at the coin karaoke. Jo Se-ho, who answered the most questions correctly, won 10,000 won for snacks, followed by Kim Jong-min, who answered correctly next, winning 5,000 won. The four shared snacks together, creating a warm atmosphere with their strong teamwork on their first trip to Ulleungdo.
Upon arriving at Ulleungdo Dodong Port, Moon Se-yoon and Lee Joon chose one of the keywords ‘up’ and ‘down’ and became team leaders of different teams. Moon Se-yoon chose ‘down’ and Lee Joon chose ‘up’, while Kim Jong-min, Jo Se-ho, DinDin, and Yoo Seon-ho also divided into teams based on the two keywords just before arrival, raising expectations.
