Actor Lee Dong-wook is suffering serious damage due to invasions of privacy, and his agency has announced a strong legal response.
On the 14th, his agency King Kong by Starship stated, "Recently, there have been repeated cases of unauthorized visits to Lee Dong-wook's unofficial schedules, residence, and private spaces, as well as inappropriate letters being left," and added, "This invasion of privacy is occurring repeatedly."
The agency emphasized that these actions are clearly illegal. "We plan to take strict legal action against all forms of privacy invasion, including visiting the artist's residence, invading private spaces, tracking unofficial schedules, and leaking personal information," they warned.
The agency also reported that similar damages are occurring during the entry and exit process, including overseas schedules. "Obtaining flight information through improper means or approaching the artist on the same flight is also considered an invasion of privacy," they pointed out the seriousness of the issue.
They continued, "Such actions are illegal acts that threaten the safety of the artist," and added, "Invasion of privacy cannot be justified for any reason. We ask for restraint and cooperation to protect the rights of the artist."
Lee Dong-wook is currently engaged in various projects and managing a global schedule. He has completed filming for the Disney+ original series 'Shopping Mall of Killers' Season 2, which is set to be released next year.
