Jeong Eun-hye, a writer and actress with Down syndrome, expressed her desire to take her new father's surname and has drafted an adoption statement.

On the 12th, a video titled "From Adopting a Cat to Writing a Statement, So Much to Say About My Newlywed Afternoon Life" was posted on Jeong Eun-hye's YouTube channel.

The released video features Jeong Eun-hye's newlywed life, including her recent appearance on the SBS variety show 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2' (hereafter 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2').

After finishing her schedule and daily activities, her younger sibling asked her, "Sister, isn't your surname going to change now?" In response, Jeong Eun-hye said, "It’s much better for me to change to Seo Eun-hye. Because it means I will have a real biological sibling and a real biological father," explaining her desire to take her new father's surname instead of her estranged biological father's.

Jeong Eun-hye also drafted an adoption statement. She wrote, "I had a biological father, but he remarried because he didn't get along with my mother," and added, "I have been living without contact after separating from my father. One day, he did not come to find me."

She continued, "And my real biological father is Seo Dong-il. I also have a husband," and added, "I want to be adopted by father Seo Dong-il and live happily."

Meanwhile, Jeong Eun-hye gained recognition for her role as Lee Young-hee, the sister of Lee Young-ok (played by Han Ji-min), in the 2022 tvN drama 'Our Blues.'

Active as a caricature artist, she recently drew attention by revealing her marriage process on 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2.'
