On the 27th, director Maggie Kang of Netflix's 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' appeared as a guest on tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block' (hereafter 'You Quiz').
On that day, director Maggie Kang laughed and said about the global popularity of Netflix's 'K-Pop Demon Hunters', "It's a bit strange. I can't believe it. I didn't know a single movie could be this popular."
She added, "I can't believe I'm here. I've watched 'You Quiz' a lot, and it's amazing that I'm on a show like this."
The OSTs of 'K-Pop Demon Hunters', such as 'Golden' and 'Soda Pop', are currently dominating the upper ranks of the US Billboard charts. Director Maggie Kang said, "While we were making the songs, we hoped that K-Pop fans would accept these songs as K-Pop and that HuntRix and Lion Boys would be accepted as idol groups. But I never thought our songs would make it to Billboard. That's so amazing. It's also incredible that HuntRix and Lion Boys are competing on Billboard."
