Actress Kim Jung-hwa celebrated her 12th wedding anniversary with CCM singer Yoo Eun-sung.
On the 24th, Kim Jung-hwa posted on her Instagram, "It's already been 12 years... I'm happy, sad, blessed, and hurt to have my husband who quietly stands by my side," adding, "I hope for another 10 years together. I love you. Let's continue to live happily together like we do now," along with a video.
The video shows the couple enjoying a happy time driving to a restaurant in a convertible to celebrate their anniversary.
In the video, she captioned, "On our 12th wedding anniversary, my husband took me in a convertible, and even with my hair all messy, I'm happy," expressing her joy.
Kim Jung-hwa married Yoo Eun-sung in 2013 and they have two sons together.
Yoo Eun-sung was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2023. "I was ultimately diagnosed with brain cancer. However, interestingly, the cancer cells are not growing and are just sitting in my head, so they said I don't need surgery. I think I can just continue to monitor it without stress," he revealed, receiving public support.
The couple appeared on SBS's "Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny" in 2023, reminiscing about Yoo Eun-sung's diagnosis.
At that time, Kim Jung-hwa said, "The doctor said that if I undergo surgery, there is a 90% chance of disability and more than a 50% chance of death," and added, "I was so grateful and happy to hear that immediate surgery is not necessary."
