In 'Superman Returns', 35-month-old Ji-woo, who inherited her dad Jang Dong-min's genius DNA, undergoes a genius test.
The episode airing on the 9th of KBS2's 'Superman Returns' (hereafter 'Superman') is titled 'The Arrival of the High Tension Super Mom' featuring MCs Park Soo-hong, Choi Ji-woo, Ahn Young-mi, along with Jang Dong-min and Hae Ji-ni. Ji-woo, who has inherited the genius DNA of Jang Dong-min, the overwhelming number one in the brain survival field, takes a genius test, drawing attention.
Jang Dong-min reveals that people around him suggested Ji-woo take the test, and he decided to do it to better understand her. The scene of Jang Dong-min entering a state of extreme tension while waiting for Ji-woo, who went to take the genius test alone, catches the eye.
He states, “I usually don’t get nervous, but I’m really nervous,” adding, “Whether she’s a genius or ordinary, I worry. Even if she’s lacking, I worry. I had all sorts of thoughts in the waiting room.” His anxious demeanor while waiting for Ji-woo’s test to finish, much like a parent waiting for their child to take a college entrance exam, resonates with the studio audience.
During the 50-minute test, Ji-woo's focused appearance impresses Park Soo-hong, who exclaims, “Ji-woo is definitely not an ordinary child,” while Choi Ji-woo praises, “It’s amazing that she can sit still and concentrate.”
The results of Ji-woo's genius test are revealed, bringing surprise. Ji-woo, who has shown exceptional expressiveness and language skills, is evaluated in the top 1% for language intelligence, proving she is a first-grade genius. Regarding the test results, Center Director Choi Hyung-beom certifies Ji-woo's linguistic genius, stating, “She can easily handle learning three languages at the same time,” which draws applause.
The process and results of Ji-woo's genius test, which certified the DNA of brain survival champion Jang Dong-min, will be featured in the main broadcast of 'Superman'.
‘Superman Returns’ airs every Wednesday at 8:30 PM.
