Complaints erupted from the audience at the BLACKPINK concert held after 1 year and 10 months.
On the 5th and 6th, BLACKPINK held their 'BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR
As a full group concert after 1 year and 10 months, all tickets sold out immediately upon release, generating significant buzz, but complaints poured in on online communities and social media after the performance. Some seats, such as N3, N8, and N9, reported that the stage was completely invisible.
One audience member expressed, "I joined the membership and worked hard to get tickets because I wanted to see BLACKPINK in person, but is this the result?" and added, "I went hoping to see the entire stage from afar, but I couldn't focus on the performance and couldn't enjoy it properly. It wasn't just obstructed view; I couldn't see it at all."
Another audience member stated, "There's no need for a review; it simply wasn't visible," and criticized, "They informed us that structures could obstruct the view, but in reality, there was no view at all. I'm very angry that these seats were sold as regular tickets, not as obstructed view seats."
According to photos posted by the audience, there were consoles and screens installed between the seats and the stage. The screens blocked the front of the stage, preventing those seated in these areas from seeing the performance. These seats were sold for a higher price (132,000 won) than obstructed view seats (99,000 won).
Some netizens argued, "Such areas are often not sold due to view issues," claiming that it is unlikely that YG Entertainment was unaware of the potential for obstructed views in advance.
While the controversy continues, YG Entertainment has not provided any significant response.
Through this 'DEADLINE' tour, BLACKPINK will meet fans in a total of 31 performances across 16 cities, including Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, New York, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, London, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.
