Former basketball coach Kim Tae-soo expressed his gratitude and apologies towards his wife Park Ha-na.
On the 30th, SBS's 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny' depicted the daily life of the couple Park Ha-na and Kim Tae-soo.
On this day, Park Ha-na shared that after about two years of dating, she is getting married, saying, "I feel lucky and amazed to have met Kim Tae-soo as if it were fate. I sometimes think, 'Have I lived well?' I met a partner who truly fits my heart."
Park Ha-na praised Kim Tae-soo for being good at household chores, saying, "I think I had a preconceived notion about athletes. I thought they were very blunt and masculine. But Kim Tae-soo is really good at managing the household. Maybe because he played basketball, he has excellent hand skills." She continued, "I even brag to people around me, 'Date an athlete. They really manage the household well.' I think I made a good match."
Seeing this, Seo Jang-hoon, Kim Tae-soo's senior from university, commented, "Park Ha-na has hit the jackpot. Among his athlete colleagues, Kim Tae-soo is particularly family-oriented. Not all of them are like that."
However, there was a conflict between the couple, Park Ha-na and Kim Tae-soo, regarding the issue of household items.
Park Ha-na expressed her frustration, saying, "We need to decorate our newlywed home, but are we not changing the dishes or spoons? We should show that we are married, right?" However, Kim Tae-soo responded, "Why change something that's clean?" showing his focus on efficiency.
Seo Jang-hoon explained, "To elaborate, Kim Tae-soo's home wasn't luxurious; he has a frugal style." He added, "Also, Park Ha-na needs to understand that Kim Tae-soo is currently unemployed after being a coach. From his perspective, he probably wants to save as much as possible."
Kim Tae-soo was appointed as the coach of Goyang Sono but was dismissed after five months due to poor performance. He stated, "In fact, being dismissed can happen at any time in the professional world. I think of it as something that can happen rather than something to be taken hard."
He continued, "When the dismissal decision was made, I wasn't feeling great, but I knew this too would pass, and I am someone who can do well elsewhere, so I didn't feel a significant impact."
However, he added, "With the wedding approaching, I felt very sorry that Park Ha-na might be upset after seeing such articles. But going through that tough process naturally made me realize once again that Park Ha-na is a better person. I think it has become a moment of strengthening our bond."
Seo Jang-hoon explained, "Even if he is dismissed, the salary continues to come out. Because it's a dismissal, it will continue during the contract period." To this, Kim Tae-soo jokingly replied, "Still, please buy me a blanket."
