Um Ji-in's family made their first appearance on 'Sadangui'.
On the afternoon of the 21st, KBS2's entertainment program 'The Boss's Ears are Donkey Ears' (hereafter 'Sadangui') featured Um Ji-in as the first boss.
In this episode, Um Ji-in expressed excitement as it was the day her husband and children, who live in Japan, were coming to Korea after two years.
The couple visited an academic consulting firm to recommend career paths for their children. When the consultant asked what concerns they had, Um Ji-in's husband said, "The children have been attending an English kindergarten in Korea, then an international school in Japan, and now they are in a regular school in Japan. They are struggling to keep up due to language barriers, so we are focusing on private education," showing understanding of their children's difficulties.
He also mentioned that he is the primary caregiver, stating, "It costs about 2 million won in Korean money for the children's education," indicating the high expenses. Um Ji-in added, "I want to see what the children can excel at, but my husband has high expectations because he is in academia," highlighting their differing educational values.
The results of the children's intelligence tests were revealed. The consultant noted, "The second child shows high scores in the sciences." The panel watching the VCR commented, "He resembles his dad. If he took after his mom, he should have scored higher in languages," suggesting that he inherited traits from Um Ji-in's husband. In response, Um Ji-in said, "Dad is actually better at languages. My husband graduated from business school and can teach in English, Japanese, and Korean. He is the one who finds languages easiest, while I struggle with them," indicating her husband's strength in languages.
The consultant recommended, "For the second child, I suggest reading, especially comic books. It's important to maintain interest in language."
The husband continued, "The first child is taking a test aimed at older students, and there is an English proficiency test in Japan. Bon-a has achieved level 2. Not only is her English good, but she also presents well," he said. The expert commented, "The first child is an ISFJ. If I were to recommend a career based solely on personality, I would suggest stable professions like pharmacist, doctor, civil servant, or professor." The husband added, "The first child also wants to go to medical school or dental school." The expert agreed, "If she hopes for dental school, I agree. Realistically, I would recommend pharmacy school in Japan."
The expert candidly told Um Ji-in, "Overall, you seem like a very tired great-grandmother or a prison warden." In contrast, she mentioned that Um Ji-in's husband has a stable educational philosophy.
The husband revealed, "Since I work at a university, I'm used to dealing with children, but Ji-in has only worked in a company, so she tends to push the children hard, which can be tough for them. It's interesting that she doesn't realize that's wrong," sharing his thoughts.
Later, Um Ji-in's family enjoyed samgyeopsal and mala soup prepared by announcers Kim Jin-woong and Hong Joo-yeon. Panelist Park Myung-soo joked, "Why did you bring Jin-woong again?"
Hong Joo-yeon asked, "Who nags more between Bon-a and Bon-seung's parents? What do they nag about?" To which the eldest, Bon-a, replied, "They're both similar. They nag about studying. If I try to take a break and look elsewhere, mom tells me to focus," expressing her frustration.
Um Ji-in's daughter said, "It's okay that mom isn't in Japan. Her job as an announcer is cool. I love you, mom," conveying her love for her mother.

The second boss to appear was Koyote. They began their final rehearsals three days before the concert. Notably, Kim Jong-min seemed changed after marriage. In the past, he would defer answers to other members, but now he took the lead in boosting team morale.
However, Kim Jong-min was the only one who made mistakes during the group dance. Shin Ji commented, "He can't help it; as a newlywed, he's overly excited. But he needs to keep in sync during the group dance. It's off," revealing her thoughts.
Despite this, Kim Jong-min continued to practice with high energy. Even after two hours of practice, when Shin Ji suggested taking a break, Jong-min insisted, "No, we can't take a break," and continued dancing alone.
On the day of the event, while Kim Jong-min was singing passionately, he faced difficulties when his microphone malfunctioned. A panelist remarked, "The leader is singing alone without knowing what's happening. He can't see the forest for the trees," criticizing him, to which Kim Jong-min replied, "I was aware of what was happening behind me. But since there are audience members, I had to keep going," feeling awkward.
Kim Jong-min stated, "In the past, I was so focused on my own performance that I didn't notice anything else, but now I can see the bigger picture," indicating he is fulfilling his role as a leader well.
The third boss to appear was Park Myung-soo. He visited Incheon Airport Customs for the 'Walking to the Boss's House' segment. The customs officer explained, "Incheon International Airport Customs is divided into traveler customs, import/export customs, express mail customs, and the investigation department. The investigation department has a separate narcotics investigation unit that directly handles drug smuggling cases and refers them to the prosecution."
The customs officer revealed, "In fact, many people openly bring drugs. There was someone who came with a bag full of them. 100 pieces of marijuana," shocking the panel. He also mentioned that people hide drugs in unusual places like shoe soles, walnut shells, magazines, soap, and body lotion containers.
The officer added, "We detected 2 tons of drugs at Okgye Port and received a reward vacation." He recounted, "The boat was as big as the 63 Building, and even after searching from 5 AM to 3 PM, we couldn't find it. But when the detection dog sniffed around, we found the drugs."
Later, Park Myung-soo and Ye-won conducted a drug inspection of luggage themselves. When the drug detection dog sat down after sniffing, Park Myung-soo nervously said, "I wonder what's in this bag." A white powder was found in the luggage, which tested positive for cocaine, shocking everyone.
‘Sadangui’ airs every Sunday at 4:45 PM on KBS2.
