'Running Man' will be canceled due to the aftermath of the passenger plane crash at Mu-an International Airport.

An SBS official stated on the 29th to Maeil Business Star Today, "The entertainment program 'Running Man', which was scheduled to air today, has been canceled, and a news special will be arranged."

Originally, actor Kang Hoon was set to appear as a guest on today's broadcast, but with SBS's decision to cancel, his recorded segment will air next week.

Meanwhile, at around 9:05 AM today, an accident occurred at Mu-an International Airport when Jeju Air flight 7C2216, coming from Bangkok, Thailand, collided with the runway's outer wall while landing.

The aircraft was burned to the point where, except for the tail section, no shape remained after the collision, and only 2 of the 181 passengers on board were rescued.
