
Yoon Jin-kyu, the PD of ‘Neighborhood Round’, pointed out ‘stamina’ as the strength of MC Lee Man-ki.
On the morning of the 20th at 10:30 AM, a press conference for the 300th special episode of KBS1 documentary ‘Neighborhood Round’ was held at KBS in Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, with Lee Man-ki and PD Yoon Jin-kyu in attendance.
On this day, when asked about MC Lee Man-ki's strengths, PD Yoon Jin-kyu said, “His greatest strength is his stamina. The schedule for ‘Neighborhood Round’ is quite tough, but Lee Man-ki has never said ‘NO’ to the production team while hosting. He is truly a top-notch talent. He handles everything from work assignments to climbing mountains with great flair.”
He continued, “Secondly, he has the ability to match the audience's level. We meet various people, and he has a great ability to draw out their stories. As a director, I am very pleased that rich stories come out.”
Meanwhile, ‘Neighborhood Round’ is a healing program that explores hidden stories across South Korea and reminds viewers of the ‘value of the neighborhood’. This 300th special episode is titled ‘[Overseas Koreans Special Part 2] Going to Central Asia’ and highlights the lives of the oldest overseas Koreans in Central Asia in our immigration history. The first part will air on the 21st at 7:10 PM.
