Actor Ryu-jin's wife shared the story behind her decision to quit being a flight attendant.

On the 28th, Ryu-jin's YouTube channel ‘The Most (Wonderful) Ryu-jin’ released a video titled “For the First Time in 20 Years, My Wife's True Feelings and Tears...”

The video features Ryu-jin meeting with his wife and her friends from her 25 years as a flight attendant, reminiscing about the past.

On that day, one friend remarked, “Didn’t (Ryu-jin's wife) quit being a flight attendant because she wanted to?” to which Ryu-jin's wife replied, “It was unavoidable given the circumstances.”

She continued, “I was given the opportunity to fly while leaving my son behind, but I returned to work when he was around two years old, and within six months, I had to take sick leave,” explaining, “It was because my son developed separation anxiety.”

She mentioned that her son stopped eating and sleeping. Since his mother was away for a week due to flying, he became unhealthy, recalling, “His fever rose to 40 degrees, and he even got gastroenteritis.”

She added, “Every night, my husband had to drive around the neighborhood several times for him to finally fall asleep, and when I came home, he acted as if nothing was wrong,” explaining, “After three months of this, it became difficult for both of us. The hospital said, ‘There’s no medicine. You need to have another child,’” which led to the decision to have a second child.

Meanwhile, Ryu-jin married his wife, who is six years younger, in 2006, and they have two sons together.
